Leonie's background in employment law and people management gives her a unique perspective on how people problems (both performance and personal) are best managed through a focus on the person and people, and not the law.

There is a place for lawyers, but if the lawyers are involved it is usually because people have lost sight of the personal perspectives of those involved in the problem.  As Eleanor Roosevelt famously said "No one won the last war and no one will win the next war".  

Get the lawyers involved, and the war has started.  Leonie prefers diplomatic avenues whenever possible.

Leonie works with business owners and senior leadership teams to work through people problems in a way that connects with both the business' needs and the people needs, in a commercial and pragmatic way.

Most importantly, Leonie works to align business goals with both people goals and customer goals - in her experience, when these areas are working together and in alignment, everything happens more easily.
